Grinch presents a collection of deep productions with dark, spaced-out tone, for his first solo EP. The title track sets the mood with a minimal, devilish bouncing shimmer, that grows into a subby monster in no time. The vibe changes with Pulling Teeth dropping us into a spacious ambience, with ghost tones of varying frequencies. On the flip, Genjutsu, a heart pumping rhythm with knife edge minimal percussion. The final tune, 1:45AM is reminiscent of a dark Sci -Fi nightmare scene and followed by waking up in a terrifying, cold sweat. Together the tracks teeter along the lines of techno with dubstep influences.
